It’s been a little while since I’ve shared an update here, but this feels like the right moment to return—and to use this space more intentionally to keep you connected to what I’m learning, creating, and experiencing along the way.
If we’re connected on social media you may have already heard the good news, but I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected for The Narrative Project Fellowship, a yearlong storytelling fellowship with The Christian Century—an independent, ecumenical magazine that has reported on faith, ideas, and public life for more than a century.

Given the publication’s rich history—including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s service as an editor-at-large—I’m deeply honored to take part in this experience.
For years, much of my work has centered on holding and carrying the stories of others. Through Radical HospitaliTEA, I’ve explored what it means to listen deeply, honor lived experiences, and bring stories from the fringes to the forefront.
This fellowship opens a new chapter: an opportunity to deepen my own storytelling craft while continuing to explore Hospitality as Public Practice and a question that has become increasingly important to me:
What happens when the storyteller becomes part of the story?
During this yearlong fellowship, we’ll convene four times to learn more about ourselves and explore what makes a story. We’ll gather in Ashland, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; Austin, Texas; and Boston, Massachusetts.
Over the next year, I’ll use this space to bring you along—sharing what I’m learning, what I’m questioning, what I’m creating, and a few behind-the-scenes moments as the journey unfolds.
I’ll bring you along through tools like Field Notes, where I’m becoming more intentional about documenting life within a community where resilience, hope, and heartbreak often share the same space.
My hope is that this blog becomes a place for conversation, too. As I share what’s in my cup, I’d love to hear what’s in yours.

But for now, I’m simply grateful for the opportunity—and grateful you’re here.
This is my offering.
